Business English

The objective: to improve your speaking and listening skills. 

UPDATED:  MAR 2022
  1. We will have 2 free Business English online conversations.

  2. We will determine your objectives and your level of General English.

  3. The classes are designed specifically for you.
    ​
  4. This is not a pre-designed course!

What is Business English?

  • ​English for working professionals in a specific sector. "English for Work".  

  • Marketing, Logistics, Finance, Human Resources, etc

How is The Business English Class Administrated.

Typical Class
  • First:  You will have your own private page on the site where dialogues, exercises, special links, tips, suggestions, and more will be available 24/7.
    ​
  • Face-To-Face using Zoom,  Messenger, Skype, WhatsApp or other app.
​
  • 15 minutes, 4 times  a week or
  • 30 minutes, twice a week; however, this is determined during sign up.
    ​
  • Only speaking and listening.​ (Conversation)
   
  • I note errors, correct them on the spot and we continue conversing. ​

After Class:
  • I will send a you a dialogue (see sample) containing  the corrected errors from the previous class.
    ​
  • I will send "study links" and post them on your page, which will enable you to focus on understanding and improving your Business English. ​​
    ​

  • I will explain grammar, but at a minimum.  You will learn grammar offline.  Online is for Speaking Business English
Next Class: 
  • We do the dialogue, continue to correct any errors (usage, pronunciation, etc) and resolve any doubts you may have. 
    ​
  • We continue conversing and correcting errors.
 
  • I will send out another dialogue like the previous class.​​
Special Projects    ​​
  • I will assign you Special Projects (self-study activities). ​​
    ​
  • These activities will require you to use English online in your area of work. 

  • ​These Special Projects will depend on:

    Your profession.

    Where you live.

    Your objectives.


    Your level of General English.
    ​
    The environment where you need or expect to use your ESP. 

    And your available time for offline training.

Additional Support
  • As I am online most of the day, I will send you links to articles or news items I come across  that will l help improve your English; usually via Whatsapp.
    ​ 
  • Remember, this training program is super flexible.  We will determine what you want to learn and how often based on your needs and requirements and you will communicate in English.

The Cost:​

  • US$ 30 per hour class time.
  • All other training support is included in the above price.
