YET: ESP BUSINESS ENGLISH

-- ESP -- English for Specific Purposes

What Is ESP?

  • English for Specific Purposes.

  • It is English focusing on the vocabulary, grammar and the usage of for a specific field.

    (Aviation, Business, Medicine, Tourism, etc).

Also known as "English for Work".

You Will Learn:

  • Vocabulary - Pronunciation - Grammar
And proper usage for:  Aviation, Business, Law or Medicine through Dialogues/Conversation or only Conversation. The dialogues will be designed specifically for you!

  • Technical Terms
But more importantly, you will learn how to use those Technical Terms in context.
Usually, pronunciation and using them correctly in English is the problem with technical terms; not the meanings.

  • Learn to converse in the Professional and Real World in Every Day English in your area of expertise.

How Is This ESP Class Administrated:

  • Face-To-Face using Zoom,  Messenger, Skype, Whatsapp or other app

  • 30 minutes, twice a week; however, this is determined during sign up.

  • The class: only speaking and listening.
I note errors, correct them and we continue conversing.
The next day I will send a short dialogue containing those errors plus links for you to visit which will enable you to correct the errors and practice speaking correctly.
The next class we do the dialogue, continue to correct any errors (usage, pronunciation, etc) and resolve any doubts you may have.

  • You will also do special projects that will require you to use your ESP English.
These special projects depend on your profession, where you live, your objectives, your level of General English and the environment where you need or expect to use your ESP.

  • We will have two free, online conversations to discuss how to proceed.  This training will be specifically designed for you!

After Class Support:

  • You will have your own private page on the site where dialogues, exercises, special links, tips, suggestions, and more will be available 24/7.

  • You will receive emails or messages specifically focusing on the areas that require you to improve.  These are self-study activities that will resolve the errors encountered in our Face-To-Face class.

  • You also can contact me during a specific time of day to ask questions (included in the class fee)

  • I also will send links through the week to help you USE your English for Specific Purposes:  Videos, newspaper articles, anything related to your professional field that will expand your ESP speaking and listening skills.

  • The training is super flexible.  We will determine what you want to learn and how often based on your requirements

The Cost:

  • US$ 30 per hour
