k, s, ce, ch, sh, f, p, th have the "t" sound; not the "id" sound.

Students say:   ask id    Should say:  ask t

• asked - I asked him his name. 
• missed - I missed my flight to New York yesterday. 
• pronounced - He pronounced "famous" incorrectly.  
• watched - While he watched TV, he fell asleep.​

Negative sentence doesn't use "ed" with verbs.
He didn't watch the football game.

Questions don't use "ed" with verbs.
